What is the difference between a Shipping Plan and a On Demand Delivery Plan? 

Fresh Biryani Box Shipping Plan is a meal plan which is delivered right to your door via one of our delivery partners such as UPS. Fresh Biryani Box On Demand Delivery Plan is a new plan in which you have a choice of selecting from our A le Carte menu for a local neighborhood delivery via third party courier. We offer local delivery within a 10 miles radius of our local kitchen.

Do you deliver on demand in the neighborhood?

Absolutely! You can have our meals delivered on demand to your home or work, simply by placing an order online or through our mobile app.

When will I get my Fresh Biryani Box?

For all new customers, your Fresh Biryani Box will be ship out on the next day after you sign up (usually between 24 to 48 hours). For on going customers, your account will renew on the 1st of each month and your Fresh Biryani Box will be shipped out by the next day. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may vary from month to month. You can always check the status of your order (and see when it will ship) in the Orders Tracker on your account page.

Why does it take until the end of the month to get my Fresh Biryani Box shipped?

Everything in your Fresh Biryani Box is made by our local kitchens just for you. After your order is confirmed on the 1st of the month your order is submitted to our in-house fulfillment department for shipping. After all your Fresh Biryani are freshly made and packaged locally, they are inspected and approved for quality control and safety, they are boxed up and shipped out to you. This complete process takes about 2 to 4 hours from the time your order is confirmed.

What are my shipping options?

There are three shipping options-This one is totally on you, we are happy to offer shipping to all within the United States. We ship primarily with UPS but you can choose FedEx if you wish and you have an account. Please refer to our shipping info for more detail guidelines.

Where do you ship, is Fresh Biryani Box offered Internationally?

Well currently we only ship to any physical address within 52 states of United States and its territories.

 

How do I change my shipping address?

It is easy and simple! You can change your shipping address at any time by either logging into your Fresh Biryani Box Online Account or by sending us an email at support@freshbiryanibox.com. In order to affect a particular month’s shipment, you must submit your address change prior to your next renewal billing (before the 1st of the month that is around 25th of the month). For example, if you are looking to change the delivery address of January’s box, you must submit your address change before December 23rd (before the 1st of the month). Address changes submitted on or after the 1st of the month will be effective the following month. You have successfully updated your shipping address.

Please note that addresses need to be updated before the 1st of the month, otherwise your Fresh Biryani Box will be shipped to the address currently on file and we will not be liable for any incurred charges.

Will my food stay fresh in transit?

We make every effort to make sure your food stays fresh throughout the journey, so we ensure that each box arrives at your doorstep with all your meals at the appropriate temperatures.

We pack each food container hygienically and carefully with insulated thermal liners and refrigerants on the top and at the bottom to maintain appropriate temperature during transit, and our team of shipping experts regularly evaluate the efficiency of our packages as needed.

We do recommend that you place all perishable items in the refrigerator immediately upon delivery, understanding that you are receiving temperature sensitive perishable food item. Depending on the season and temperature in your geographic area at the time of delivery, advance planning may be needed to ensure immediate and proper storage of meals prior to consumption. Shipping info

Our shipping system monitors the temperatures where your package is being delivered to ensure your Fresh Biryani Box arrives in perfectly fresh condition, no matter the weather. We tuck your orders in boxes with DRY ICE inside to keep its freshness in transit and on delivery.

We offer a variety of shipping options including, On Demand Door Delivery in the neighborhood, Second Day Delivery and Standard Delivery. We also offer Saturday/Sunday on demand delivery in your local Neighborhood. We do not offer Standard and 2-day shipping on the weekend all orders received online or by phone goes out on Monday for shipping. Fresh Biryani is not responsible for delivery delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions.

Note: Our daily order cut-off time for lunch/dinner within Local Neighborhood on demand delivery is 2 Hours before delivery schedule. For example, if you want your order delivered by 12Noon then we must get your order by 10AM PST. Orders placed Standard Shipping and two-day shipping can be received after 1 PM, will calculate as if the order were placed the following day. For example, if an order is placed with 2 Day Delivery on Monday before 1 PM PST, the order will arrive after 2 following days, which is Wednesday.

This website currently ships to U.S. addresses only, including Alaska and Hawaii. All orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via 2 Day Priority, and include a $20.00 surcharge to the Standard Delivery fee. Saturday & Sunday delivery to these locations is not available. Please allow up to 5- 7 business days for these shipments. Shipments to an APO/PO address must be sent via Standard Shipping and cannot be guaranteed to arrive by a specific date. These orders may take up to 14 business days.

Shipping options include:  

Same Day Local Delivery – we are pleased to offer guaranteed Same day on demand delivery in most of the local neighborhood areas. Orders must be received by 10 AM PST for lunches and 05:30PM for diners.

Standard Shipping – will arrive within 5-7 business days. You may select a future arrival date up to 1 year in the future. With this option you may select a date range only, and your order will arrive any day of the weekly range selected: Wednesday-Friday.

2 Day Shipping  If you place your order before 12Noon PST on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, your order will ship the same day that it is received to arrive within 2 business days. If you place your order after 1 PM PST, your order will ship the next possible business day. NOTE: Orders placed after 1pm PST on Wednesday may ship out the following Monday for arrival on the following Wednesday.

How do I change & update my payment information?

Log into your www.freshbiryanibox.com online account with your username and password. Click on the “Shipping and Billing Tab”. Click the “Update” button then change your shipping address and billing information in the boxes. That’s it! You have successfully updated your payment method. Please note that payment methods need to be updated by 23rd of the month before the 1st of the next month without any exceptions. Otherwise your Fresh Biryani Box will be charged to the payment method currently on file.

 

How do I pay for my order? 

All payments are made securely through our website and mobile app. We accept all major credit and debit cards including PayPal, Debit Card, Master Card, Visa Card and Diner Card. If you like you can also pay through checking & savings accounts.

 
What forms of payment do you accept?
 

We accept Debit Cards, PayPal and all major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club) currently we are not accepting American Express Please contact us if you would like to pay with your checking or saving accounts.

 

When will I be billed?

 

You will be billed for your full subscription plan immediately upon you signup. Your plan will automatically renew (don’t worry, you can cancel any time) on the 23rd of the month a week before last date of any given month.

 

Payments, Refunds, & Cancellations

How do I cancel my Shipping Meal Plan subscription?

You can cancel your Delivery subscription plan through the Manage Plan section on the website or Manage Plan manager on our mobile app. On the web, you can find the option to cancel under the More Options button on your next active week order. Once your Delivery order week is in progress, any cancellations made will occur the following week.

If you only select to “skip” the weeks viewable in the Manage Plan section, it will not fully cancel your subscriptionYou must go to More Options (web) /Manage Plan (app) -> Cancel Subscription -> Confirm to cancel all upcoming weeks. Please note if you’ve skipped a week the cancellation option will be available in the next active week. 

When is my card charged for my Shipping order?

Your card will be authorized at 1am on the day prior to when your menu locks for the week. Your menu locks 4 days before your order ships, which is 1-2 days before your delivery date, depending on where you live. This will appear as a pending charge on your account, and we will then process the payment at 12:01am the next day.  

For example, if your order ships on Mondays, your card will be preauthorized at 8am the prior Thursday, and then your menu will lock and your charge will be finalized at 12:01am on Friday. You’ll also receive an email the day before your lock day with a reminder to update your meals for your next week!  

The preauthorization allows us to give you advance notice in case you need to make updates to your payment method, without missing a week of meals. We lock your menu 4 days in advance so that we can ensure all meals are cooked to order, reducing unnecessary waste, and ensuring that we’re able to continuously deliver healthy made easy for all of our customers.

Why is there a pending charge on my account?

We authorize your card at 8am the day prior to your menu lock date. This preauthorization allows us to give you advance notice in case you need to make updates to your payment method, without missing a week of meals.  For many customers, seeing this pending charge on their account also reminds them that they have an order coming up, so they can go into their account and change their menu, or skip or reschedule their order before their week is locked.

I received a promo code, how do I redeem it?

You can redeem your promo code at the time of your purchase. Promo codes cannot be applied or combined to current meal subscriptions, they can only be applied to a new meal subscription plan only once at the time of checkout, if you already redeemed a promo code for a specific dollar amount, your discount will only apply to your next week’s delivery you receive. If you skip your weekly or subscription delivery, your discount will no longer be valid.

Is my promo code being applied, even if I change my meals?

You will see the promotion continue on your account even if updates are made to your menu. However, if updates are made please be aware that it will show you the total cost of the meals without the discount applied to give you an idea as to what it will cost in future. However please rest assured that this will not cancel your multi week promotion.

Can I build my own Fresh Biryani Box?

Yes of course! And why not, we understand that every individual has their own taste buds, dietary preferences and some of us are sensitive to some nuts and diary products, so made a simple and easy attempt to come up with handpicking Biryanis that you, our customers’ can handpick their favorite Biryanis from the list of our A Le Carte menu.

How long do Fresh Biryani Box meals last at home?

Fresh Biryani Box meals are freshly made, so eating them soon after the purchase date is best. That being said, our meals, with the exception any given exceptions have a 4-6 day shelf life from when they were produced! Each item has a consume by date sticker listed on the side.

How do I change my subscription?

Log into your freshbiryanibox.com online account with your username and password, click on the “Subscription Details” Tab, Click the “Change” button. Then choose a new plan from the drop-down menu.

That’s it! You have successfully updated your subscription plan. Please note that subscription plans need to be updated before the 25th of the month, otherwise your payment method will be charged for the plan we have on file.

 

How do I get my share or donate to the needy?

 

Please note that we are not a non-profit company, we sell and make a small profit but, we shouldn’t forget the needy so we want to be sharing and caring with others who are less fortunate than us and decided along with you that every purchase you make a portion of 2 1/2 % (two and half percent) from our net profits will go towards the Food for Everyone and kids education (academic and physical) to build a strong America.

How do I cancel my subscription or Auto-Renewal?

 

We would hate to see you go! But if there’s nothing else we can do…. Your happiness is our priority you may cancel your subscription at anytime by sending us an email at support@freshbiryanibox.com or by login into your www.freshbiryanibox.com online account with your username and password. Click on the “Subscription” Tab and next click the “Cancel Next Plan” button

That’s it! You have successfully cancelled your subscription plan. Please note in order to cancel your subscription you must email your cancellation request before your next renewal billing charge (before the 1st of the month). For example, if you are on a monthly plan and do not want the January box, you must email in your cancellation request by December 20th (with no exceptions). Unless specified otherwise, all subscriptions will automatically renew on the 1st of the month either monthly or quarterly depending on your subscription plan you choose.

 

Can I get a refund on a first-time order if I change my mind?

 

May be or May be not! All first-time initial orders placed by new customers have 24 hours cancellation window (calendar hours) from the time of order to the receipt of any cancellation and/or refund request. In order to cancel your first time initial order you must email your cancellation request to support@freshbiryanibox.com before the end of the 24 hour window (calendar hours) close of day. Unfortunately, due to perishable items and immediate product purchasing protocols that initiate order within 24 hours of an order placed, there are no refunds strictly for first time initial order requests that come in after the 24 hour window close of day.

 

What happens if my box arrives damaged?

 

Unfortunately, there are certain things out of our control. Sometimes shipping delivery handlers are not so friendly to the boxes and so damages can occur in the transit. If an item in your box is opened, damaged or otherwise not usable please take a few pictures immediately of 1) The Item in Question and 2) The Box Itself and email us at support@freshbiryanibox.com. Our smiley customer service representative will reach out to you within 24 business hours to sort out this unhappy issue.

When will my Fresh Biryani Box arrive? 

Your meals will arrive sometime between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the date of delivery. If you’re not home, don’t worry! We pack our meals with insulating liners and frozen gel packs to ensure freshness until you are able to unpack and refrigerate your order. That being said, we do recommend refrigerating the meals as soon as possible as they are fresh. Please note, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to notify you if there are any delays in your shipment

If shipping to a business address, your meals will arrive at or before 4:00 PM on your selected delivery date. Please note, UPS does not deliver to businesses on Saturdays & Sundays.
